Azalea Haylock is an aspiring Librarian and moonlighting Illustrator who lives in the plains of Northern California.

Born in the desert of SoCal, stories have always held an important place in her heart. As she grew older, she realized she wanted to tell those stories, regardless of format, and finally began chipping away at a BA in English. She surrounds herself with children and books as a Librarian-in-Training for a small public school by day, and works on telling stories and drawing pictures by night. She is determined to become the best Librarian ever! (Or at least a really cool one! )

I’m considering buying a bike. Or a gym membership. I’m not sure which I’ll use more, but it’s time to get moving.

What I’m working on

May has started, which means it’s time to putz around with #MaySketchADay.

Getting Chelsea’s and Daniel’s websites all squared away now that I’m done with my own.
